White Nile consults limited is a limited liability company registered in Uganda with RC. NO. 140 dated 18th day of November, 2011. The companyʼs principal business activity is in the area of environmental and oilfield waste management enterprise. White Nile has been fully operating as an environment and waste management company in Uganda since 2012. White Nile owns 110 acres of land in Kikuube district, Kaseeta sub county, Hohwa village, on plot No. 134, block 2.
We focus on customer value, statutory requirements of laws and regulations and offering systematic waste management solutions meeting waste management hierarchy; using best available technology. Our systems and processes are ISO 14001 certified.

We aim to be the Leading providers of Environmental and Waste management services to the Oil and Gas sector in all our operating jurisdictions.

Location and facility
White Nile facility is strategically located on 444510m2 of space at plot 134, block 2, Hohwa Village, Kaseeta parish, Kabwoya sub-county, Kikuube district. Theexact GPS positioning of facility is (1W98G4S, UTM 36N) 274009mE, 153973mN. This location is within the Albertine graben, 66Km South West of Hoima town, off Hoima -Kaiso -Tonya highway.White Nile is licensed by NEMA to own and operate a waste treatment and disposal site on license No. WD/HW/012/2019 and ESIA certificate number: NEMA/EIA/4275. This license is renewed each year.
The facility fully complies with the requirements and conditions in the regulations derived from provisions set out in the National Environment Act, cap 153, the National
Environment management authority(NEMA), and other recognised local and international regulatory bodies.

LOCAL CONTENT ASPECTS
White Nile is obliged to provide employment opportunities to Ugandan people. More privileges are given to locals within the peripheral areas whereas expatriate labor is sourced from the rest of the world to provide technical training to Ugandans.
White Nile procurement, supply, and logistics plan gives much preference to Ugandan materials. However, technology equipment and materials are procured from the rest of the world.
